OUR MISSION

Our organization was founded by veteran spouses, sisters, and daughters for the purpose of creating a military culture without domestic and intimate partner violence. Our goal is to empower victims through education, advocacy, and empowerment to ensure safety on the home front.

Operation Foxhole will carry out this mission by facilitating a compassionate, non-judgmental conversation that represents victims/survivors of military domestic violence, intimate partner violence, and sexual trauma; challenge current systems and policies in order to build cohesive military leadership; work in synergy with military and community advocates, policymakers, and others to promote social change, and educate military members and their families everywhere about the vital importance of respect and healthy relationships.

Jennifer

Founder and President

Jennifer has a worked in the nonprofit sector for over 15 years as a Public Policy Advocate. She obtained Bachelor's Degree from St. Catherine's University; the largest all women's university in the nation. St. Kate's instilled the value of education and leadership, influencing women to empower themselves, all of which we have built in to our mission here at Operation Foxhole.

As a survivor of military domestic violence, Jennifer experienced firsthand the lack of safety resources, education and mental health care available to both Active Duty and Veteran Spouses. She has made it her mission to advocate on behalf of military DV/IPV victims working to change current reporting and disciplinary policies, and empower military families through education, employment, and mental health care access; ensuring safety on the home front.

Jennifer is a proud Member of the Veteran Spouse Network (VSN) through the University of Texas Institute for Military and Veteran Family Wellness; as well as serving as an Advisor to the Military Family Advisory Network (MFAN)  2021-2023 term.

Erin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a 20 year military spouse. She has worked extensively with military-connected families in private practice, in-school settings, and within public agencies. Erin is a trained Play Therapist and her clinical focus has centered on how trauma on the individual impacts the family system. As a military spouse, Erin understands the unique stressors that affect the military family, as well as the challenges these families often face when seeking therapeutic services in the civilian world. She is honored to work with Operation Foxhole to reduce the stigma of seeking mental health care and to help cultivate safety for the spouses and children affected by Domestic Violence and Intimate Partner violence.
